Who Cares About History?
F.E.F. formed in 1990 when two former school friends met on a bus, one drunk and one sober. Starting with a chipped and battered guitar, a very cheap keyboard and a borrowed tape deck a firm partnership was created. Nearly a decade later the band has evolved into, and continues to be a well greased, productive unit. Musically, F.E.F. have been labelled with a surprising number of genre tags, including gothic rock, eighties new wave, industrial metal, and a few more besides. It is obvious that the band have developed their own identity, which appeals to a wide audience. All recording is carried out in the small spare room of a Stafford house known fondly as 'The Blue Room' which is crammed full of mostly ancient and at best functional gear. A number of CDs are available including 'Just Another Year', 'Understand' and 'Promises Promises'.
